This is an eXperience of a lifetime as we will go to Soberanía the Lake Gatun of the Panama Canal, a best selling tour for 50 years and going strong as wildlife and vegetation are very popular.

See the panamanian motherland by “the islands” that were created after record amounts of dirt were removed and these are actually mountain tops left out on the side of the excavation site.

Observation: Starting price includes sloth haven, besides the boatride and is based on 1 or 2 guests minimum.

For groups of 7 or more guests please inform us to check availability to make a reservation as this is a rescue center with limited spots.

Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes on the boat, and in total about 4 hours and 30 minutes.

There are a wide range of activities to do with our guides.

And these are complemented by a private tours desk guide for the sloths sanctuary in the Gamboa Rainforrest Resort:

  • To see the most wildlife we recomend pick up start time around 7:30 am in the morning.
  • Or in the afternoon after 1 pm as the wild life get’s many visitors and need time to digest during the middle of the day.
  • Therefore afternoon tours have a great result and work out better on busy days.

The activity of the animals is slower between 10 am and 2 pm so to avoid our clients having a weak experience, we recomend planning around these hours.

Since the chances of seeing plenty are slim when the sun is high up in the sky.
