We booked a tour and were greeted in our hotel lobby by Richard who was on time and in great spirits. During our drive to Lake Gatineau Richard provided a detailed history of the Canal Zone, Smithsonian research, local flora and fauna and many other subjects. He answered all of our questions, had an excellent sense of humor, and was kind and entertaining. The tour itself was a blast, even though it rained we were able to interact with monkeys. Richard even stopped on the ride home to allow us to see a few sloths in the wild because our group had expressed interest in them. Overall Richard was an amazing tour guide who felt more like a long lost friend than a hired stranger. I will recommend this tour to anyone I know planning to visit Panama. Thank you!

We had an amazing experience on the Panama Canal / Gatún Lake fishing tour with the tribal visit. From start to finish, everything was smooth and well organized. The guide was on time, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the Canal Zone, wildlife, and local culture.
The fishing itself was a lot of fun, and the scenery around Gatún Lake is unreal. We were also able to see wildlife up close, including monkeys and other animals, which made the trip even more memorable.
The tribal visit was a great bonus and gave us a unique look into local traditions and lifestyle. It didn’t feel rushed and added a lot of value to the overall experience.
What really stood out was how personalized the tour felt. The guide made sure we were comfortable, answered all our questions, and even went out of the way to make stops based on our interests.
Overall, this tour exceeded expectations and is definitely worth it if you’re visiting Panama. Highly recommend!
