Emberá tribe, where the residents will share there cultural background, crafts, dance, music, the beauty of their people and an opportunity to swim in their waterfall, so bring shoes you can get wet.

Duration: 5-6 hours with a Start Time of 8:00 am to be boarding our boat at 9:00 am and the Return Time is after lunch at around 1:30 pm to be back at your pick up location at 2:00 pm the latest.

Inclusions: Snack with fish and chips, fresh fruit, road and water transportation.

Embera Tribe eXperience (half day)

In Chagres or Soberanía National parks, the Embera tribe eXperience is for the residents to share cultural background, crafts, dance, the beauty of their people and environment.

In the villages found within:

  • Chagres National park you will have the opportunity to swim in a Waterfall and
  • in the Soberanía Nat’l park we have nature trails or private alternative activities to mix in.

Let’s plan it out over the phone before you reserve or just write us.

Dress Code: Remember your shoes will get wet so water shoes are a good option, wear your bathing suit and bring dry clothes in a day pack and bring your towel.

Start Time: 8:00 am to be at the port boarding our Piragua craft boat at 9:00 am

Duration: 5-6 hours with a Start Time of 8:00 am to be boarding our boat at 9:00 am and Returning after lunch at around 1:30 pm to be back at your pick up location at 2:00 pm the latest.

Inclusions: Snack with fish and chips, fresh fruit, road and water transportation in native dug out tree bark canoes called Piraguas.

Prices:

E.5. $195.00 if only 1 (“one”) guest in order to balance out the operational expenses.

E.5.2. $120.00 x person 2 (“two” travelers or more).

This activity is great for the whole family, they welcome large groups and offer botanic knowledge they teach us about.

    The excursion with Richard was very interesting, tasty, beautiful, educational and also included dancing.

    Richard was an amazing guide for our experience through Chagress National Park and meeting the Embera tribe. He is extremely knowledgeable about not just the tour but also gives little knowledge nuggets about Panamá as a country and its story.
