We booked a tour and were greeted in our hotel lobby by Richard who was on time and in great spirits. During our drive to Lake Gatineau Richard provided a detailed history of the Canal Zone, Smithsonian research, local flora and fauna and many other subjects. He answered all of our questions, had an excellent sense of humor, and was kind and entertaining. The tour itself was a blast, even though it rained we were able to interact with monkeys. Richard even stopped on the ride home to allow us to see a few sloths in the wild because our group had expressed interest in them. Overall Richard was an amazing tour guide who felt more like a long lost friend than a hired stranger. I will recommend this tour to anyone I know planning to visit Panama. Thank you!
