B.2. Panama Canal Miraflores Locks Visitors Center

Description

The Miraflores locks is a must see, their are many ways to see the Panama Canal and this is by far the main treat for many travelers wanting to take care of a unique bucket list eXperience of a lifetime.

The Transit times for the convoys to go through are not scheduled for the touristic experience, they are an actual industrial operation that is not staged, therefore keep in mind that to see ships in the Miraflores locks:

• The last “Northbound transit” usually clears the lock by 9 am, early birds have better chances of seeing ships in the morning, and
• The first “Southbound transit” usually arrives in the afternoon after 2 pm, so you can see the IMAX movie (45 minutes) at 1:30 pm to administer your time better.

Exclusions: Admittance which is $17.22 x adult and $7.22 for children under 12 years old.

• This is a panoramic view from the top of the North Face of Ancón Hill, which is part of our custom City tour eXperience
• The Miraflores Locks are the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal system of artificial lakes
• The Pacific Harbour goes by the name of Balboa and a drive by the Aministration building is part of this activity.

Price: $68.00 for 1 or 2 travelers and from the 3rd guest add $15.00 each;

Note: Overtime after 5 hours is $25.00 per hour.
