A.1.3.1. Walking Tour of San Felipe or Panama Viejo colonial cities

Walking Tours are a way to learn more about panamanian culture and our World Heritage Sites:

  • the first site we will mention was founded with the name Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Panamá.
    • It became the first city founded on the Pacific side of the New World in 1519;
  • The second site we offer for you to walk with us in is the new City of Panama, re built 8 kms. (5 miles) west from where the first city lies in ruins,

Walking Tours are a way to learn more about panamanian culture and our World Heritage Sites:

  • the first site we will mention was founded with the name Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Panamá.
    • It became the first city founded on the Pacific side of the New World in 1519;
  • The second site we offer for you to walk with us in is the new City of Panama, re built 8 kms. (5 miles) west from where the first city lies in ruins,
    • since 1671 when it was burn down to avoid losing it to Cptn. Henry Morgan.
    • The new city grew from the low density city founded 2 years later in 1673.

Prices:

  • A.1.3.1 San Felipe Walking tour costs $35.00 for 1 or 2 travelers and from the 3rd guest add +$12.50 each, or
  • A.1.3.2 Panama Viejo Walking tour costs $75.00 for 1 or 2 travelers and from the 3rd guest add +$30.00 each, and for the two experiences in one tour you can do
  • A.1.3.3 Both in 4 hours and 30 minutes costs $95.00 for 1 or 2 travelers and from the 3rd guest add +$30.00 each.
